And this is a huge hot topic because it's such a prevalent disease. And there is so much that you can do using nutrition to help prevent your chances. So, the main equation that I look at for heart disease, is that you want to reduce your free radical load. Which free radicals are things that come from toxins in the diet like sugar, hydrogenated fats, even negative emotions create free radicals. So you want to reduce those, and you want to increase your antioxidants. Now that's where the nutrition really comes in as far as adding in very high antioxidant foods. And I'm sure you've heard of antioxidants. What you can do is basically look at the richness of a color of a food and that's the best determining factor that we can use to know, beside heavy testing, to know how high it is in antioxidants. So, if you just take a look at some of the really red vegetables and the orange carrots, and these are actually dried pomegranate and grapes. As well as you can take some supplements, like a green supplement like PaleoGreens, and Resveratrol which also comes from red grapes to help fortify your antioxidant status.
