Nichol ello everyone. Thank you so much for joining us today. I have a really special guest and dear friend, Loni Markman. She is a colleague of mine and a friend who can confide in when it comes to my business and personal life. Let me tell you a little bit more about Loni. Simple Weight Loss Tips Loni Markman is an integrated nutrition specialist and certified Pilates instructor. She holds a master's degree in health, Bachelor's in Business, a certification as a holistic health counselor from the Institution of Integrated Nutrition along with other certifications. All of which she infuses in her positive body program. Okay. Welcome Loni. I'm so happy to have you here today. Lon hanks for having me. Simple Weight Loss Tips Nichol o, how I like to start these calls is give a little brief introduction on how you got into the nutrition field. Lon ure. Well, I started in wellness because I just had a couple of "aha" moments when I realized at one point that I didn't know my body. And I realized that was the only vehicle that I have for life and I really needed to understand and support that as opposed to beat it up. So, I started in personal training and got involved that way. The routes that time I started working with the ton of women and really realize how sensitive the connection is between healthy, nutrition and their body, and how much we self-sabotage and low down ourselves. And I started to do it myself. At that same time, I started getting really bad digestive issues when I was like 6 months pregnant. I was bloated all of the time, I ate pizza or a apple -- it didn't really matter. So through my own journey, I tried to figure out what was going on for me digestively and at the same time helping the needs of women and seeing how strong a connection there was between nutrition and self-love. I started to get really involved with nutrition. I went to holistic health counselor who helped to understand what is going on with my body because no doctor was really able to help Simple Weight Loss Tips me. And through program that I ended up going into, I was able to heal myself of my digestive issues. And through my own personal experience, I also heal my own self-image -- body image issues. Nichol o, the awesome thing about your story, and I feel like with a lot of people's stories, is we end up getting into a field because we really want to heal a certain aspect of our life, of our body or whatever, and you usually have to struggle a little bit to actually succeed in it. Lon eah. No, absolutely. I mean, I did struggle for a little while and I remember my 'aha' moment. I remember exactly where I was driving and what I was doing and I was like, "It's been so much time, I wish I looked different or that my body was different or thinking about food and what I was going to eat." I imagine what I could do with that time and that was the moment where I don't know what I'm gonna do or how it is going to change but I knew I have something to change. And that was really where I entered in my own journey. And then from my own personal experience and the way that it profoundly changed who I was and how I liked my body and the lightness that I felt, I knew that I have to share it with other people. I mean if any of the ladies watching right now are feeling just exhausted.I don't really want to look at your sleep schedule as much as I want to look what is going on your mind because if we really think about that on deeper level,it's so true how those thoughts can literally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, everything on all levels of our life way us down and drain us everything we have.
